Shellmar Construction was appointed by Medlock FRB to carry out enabling and formation works on the cliffside at Skipsea, following the collapse of an existing coastal walkway.

Our scope involved preparing the site and installing a series of reinforced concrete pads to support a new elevated walkway structure. Due to the coastal location and erosion-sensitive terrain, the works required careful planning, ground stabilisation, and safe execution within a challenging environment.

Shellmar’s involvement ensured the successful reinstatement of access for pedestrians and local visitors, contributing to the safe regeneration of this exposed section of the East Yorkshire coastline.
