Shellmar Construction was appointed to support the transformation of an existing pump house into high-quality student accommodation, delivering a package of complex substructure works.

The scope involved carefully filling and compacting layers to construct a new basement formation, followed by the installation of a suspended reinforced concrete slab. All works were delivered with associated drainage, forming the structural base for the new accommodation while working within the constraints of a repurposed industrial structure.
